Off-the-shelf PCs are built to hit a shelf price, not to fit your work. A build starts from what you actually do — gaming, video editing, CAD, general home use, or a small-business workstation — and puts your budget where it counts. I help you land on the right parts list; you order and supply the parts; I assemble, test, and set it up.

Honest parts-list advice
There’s no shortage of “gamer” branding markup or parts padded with RGB and marketing rather than performance. I’ll suggest components based on what actually moves the needle for your use case — a faster drive and enough memory usually matter more day-to-day than a flashier case. If a part you already own is still good, I’ll say so and reuse it; I won’t tell you to buy something that pads a bill I’m not even the one billing.
For a business workstation, reliability usually matters more than raw speed. For gaming or creative work, I’ll walk through the real tradeoffs — where your budget buys the most noticeable improvement versus diminishing returns on the top-tier part. Either way, you’re the one placing the order.
Pricing & policy, honestly
The assembly is quoted as a flat fee before you commit — the parts themselves are bought by you, directly from whoever you order from. No payment up front on the build fee; you pay when it’s done. Not insured, not a licensed contractor — a one-person hobby and second job.
Questions
Do you source or sell the parts?
No. You order and supply all the parts yourself — I’ll help you put together an honest parts list for your budget and use case, but you do the buying.
Why not just buy a pre-built PC?
Pre-builts are assembled to hit a price point, which usually means a corner cut somewhere — a weak power supply, cramped airflow, or parts padded out with a brand name you’re paying extra for. Building from a list you chose spends your budget on the parts that actually matter for what you do.
Can I reuse parts I already have?
Usually, yes. Bring what you have and I’ll tell you honestly what’s worth keeping and what’s actually worth upgrading — no pressure to replace things that still work. You’d still order any new parts yourself.
Do you offer a warranty?
Components carry their own manufacturer warranties. I’m not insured and this is a one-person hobby, so if something I did during assembly is the problem, I’ll make it right — but there’s no formal service contract.
How do I know what parts to buy?
We talk through what you actually do with it day to day — gaming, editing, general use, or business workstation duty — and I’ll suggest a parts list that matches that. You place the order.
Do I pay anything up front?
No. No payment is taken up front for the assembly work — you pay when the build is done and tested. (Any parts you order are, of course, paid to whoever you buy them from.)
