Why a computer repair shop keeps a data desk
Most of what shows up here started as something we needed to check ourselves — is the market open before we call a client about a project budget, is a cloud provider actually down before we tell a customer their website is broken, is there a lane closure between here and a service call in Columbus. We built small, honest dashboards instead of hunting five different sites, and figured other people in Jackson County would find the same thing useful.
Every number is pulled from a free, public, keyless source at build time and refreshed on a regular schedule — never faked, never a placeholder, and never presented as faster than it actually is. If a feed is down when the site rebuilds, the page says so instead of showing stale numbers as current.
