Gas & Fuel Prices

Weekly retail fuel prices

Average U.S. prices for every grade — regular, midgrade, premium and diesel — plus the Midwest (Indiana’s fuel region) and the crude-oil price that drives them all, each with a one-year trend. Real government data, clearly dated.

Why we track fuel prices

“PADD 2” is the EIA’s Midwest fuel region — Indiana included — and it usually moves a bit differently than the national average. Seeing every grade plus diesel, the Midwest number, and crude oil side by side tells you whether a jump at the pump is a local blip, a national trend, or crude working its way through the system.

What this means for you: if you run a business in southern Indiana with delivery routes or field techs, fuel swings hit the bottom line fast. Knowing the trend beats being surprised at the pump.
